There are many opportunities to volunteer with the AIA. Volunteering with the Institute means you are a representative of its 87,000, and growing, members. Volunteering on one of the AIA Center for Emerging Professionals' national committees requires a personal commitment to the advancement of mission and values of the Institute. As a volunteer you will work on a team to think strategically about various initiatives of the Institute and seek to promote excellence through exemplary conduct.

The AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF):
The Young Architects Forum (YAF) is a committee of the American Institute of Architects that is organized to address issues of importance to recently licensed architects. The YAF works with the AIA Center for Emerging Professionals to develop important resources for the early career stage of licensure in order to foster career development and success. The AIA National Associates Committee (NAC):
The National Associates Committee (NAC) is a committee of the American Institute of Architects whose primary focus is to serve the Associate membership in the advancement of their careers. The NAC works strategically with the AIA Center for Emerging Professionals to develop initiatives relevant to and in the advancement of Associates in the Institute. Eligibility:

• All volunteer applicants must be current AIA members
• YAF applicants must be architects registered for less than 10 years
• NAC applicants must be current Associate AIA members
