Types of abstract sessions: Oral Presentations (including New Investigators), and Electronic-posters (E-posters)

Abstract descriptions:

Oral Presentations (including New Investigators)—Basic Science category presentations total 12 minutes (10-minute presentation, 2-minute Q&A). Any other presentation category totals 7 minutes (5-minute presentation, 2-minute Q&A). The New Investigator award competition encourages New Investigators to become active within the AIUM and ultrasound research. There is a monetary award associated with the New Investigator award (up to $1000).

E-posters—E-posters are not presented orally. Posters will need to be uploaded on a presentation computer. Prepare a 10-slide maximum presentation to include: Title with author affiliations and email addresses (1 slide); Background and Introduction (1 slide); Materials and Methods (1 slide); Results with images (6 slides); Conclusions (1 slide). On your Conclusions slide, please include contact information so that attendees can get in touch with you onsite at the Convention (ie, Twitter, text, etc).
