Welcome to the 2014 Advances and Controversies in Clinical Nutrition Submission Site
ASN’s fourth annual Advances and Controversies in Clinical Nutrition conference will be held December 4 – 6, 2014 right outside of Washington, DC. Focused on the latest research advances and best practices in clinical nutrition, the program features lectures, controversy sessions, workshops, professional development, scientific posters, networking, and more. Target Audience
Physicians, nutrition scientists, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians, community health educators, policymakers and others with an interest in clinical nutrition or health-related industries.
Call for Abstracts
ASN encourages the submission of original research in the form of abstracts for presentation in the following categories:
Abstract Categories
- Variability in Responses to Diet and Food
- Nutrition on Healthy Growth, Development and Reproduction
- Disease Prevention, Progression and Treatment
- Nutrition-Related Behaviors
- Food Supply and Environment
- Vitamins, Minerals, and Bioactives
- Energy and Nutrient Metabolism
- Community, Public Health and Global Nutrition
- Nutrition and Health Policy

Sponsored Satellite Programs
Sponsored Satellite Programs are educational sessions that are planned and conducted by external groups (e.g., trade groups, corporations, other health organizations) in conjunction with the American Society for Nutrition’s scientific meetings. Sponsored Satellite Programs provide attendees with additional educational/informational opportunities. Program content must be reviewed and approved by ASN.
