Eligibility
- Emerging Leaders must be a SITC student member in good standing, or a SITC regular member in good standing who has received their PhD within the last eight years or their MD within the last twelve years, and meet one or more of the following criteria: demonstrated service to the Society (committee service, etc.), Presidential Awardee/Presenter, or Fellowship Awardee.
- Must complete and submit an application by June 19, 2017. Complete applications will consist of a cover letter, personal statement, 2 letters of recommendation, a signed letter of support from a supervisor/institution representative and a CV.
- Must be available to attend the in-person retreat (8:00 a.m. Monday, August 28 – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Chicago, IL).
- Must have commitment from employer to support your salary for duration of program, to support your time commitment requirements and to support cross-institution collaboration.
- Must reside in and be employed at an institute located in the United States of America.
