The Call for Abstracts for the 78th Midwest Fish and Wildlife Conference is still open for a limited time!
Abstract Submission:
- Anyone interested in submitting an abstract for an oral or poster presentation should submit a proposal online. The deadline has been extended to Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
- The scientific program will consist of three types of sessions: Organized Symposia (a series of oral presentations organized by a single topic or theme); Contributed Oral Presentations (grouped into sessions by topic); and Poster Presentations. We'll also have a Lightning Session showcasing 10-minute presentations in a fast-paced format, to be scheduled in a one-hour session on Wednesday, January 31st.
- Please include all of the requested information and use the required format to ensure that the program committee receives the information necessary to review your abstract.
- You may begin this process and return to your saved submission any time up until the deadline. You can also login and make any modifications up until the submission deadline.
- For Oral presentations there will be options to select from a list of Symposia, or General Contributed Paper Session. See “Symposia Overview” page for details on symposia options and please note that some are by “Invite Only” and only invited speakers will be included. Invited speakers of an Organized Symposia must also submit their individual presentation abstract using this online form.
- For the General Contributed Papers, you will have the option of selecting “General Fisheries, General Wildlife, or Human Dimensions/Outreach/Public Engagement.
- Notifications of acceptance will in October and the schedule will be posted in November.
- All presenters will need to register and pay for the conference.
