The Section on Pediatric Trainees (SOPT) will accept interesting case reports by medical students, residents, and fellowship trainees.

Abstracts will be accepted for poster presentations only. Also, the abstract must be a case report.

Presenters of accepted abstracts will be asked to present their poster at the SOPT Reception and Poster Display at the AAP National Conference in September. The medical student winning abstract and resident/fellowship trainee winning abstract will be published in the September 2018 issue of Pediatrics in Review. All the other abstracts will be posted in a Pediatrics e-supplement following the National Conference.

Submissions by members and non-members of the Section on Pediatric Trainees are welcome; participation is open to health professionals in any field. However, any papers whose authors are not members of the Section on Pediatric Trainees require a sponsor who is a Section member. Sponsors must ensure that non-members adhere to all guidelines. Authors submitting to the Section on Pediatric Trainees in need of a sponsor may contact Tracy Marko or Anisha Bhatia.

Submission will not preclude submission for journal publication, nor does prior publication disqualify submission.
