AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER 2013 Conference & Exhibition
AWEA is now accepting abstracts for AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER 2013 Conference & Exhibition until Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:59 PM EST. We are looking for high quality abstracts to create an exciting, educational conference program.

The primary authors of the abstracts will be notified via email whether or not their abstracts were selected for either a podium presentation or a poster presentation by Monday, July 1, 2013. Please do not contact AWEA before this date, as it will only delay the process. If accepted, you must register for the conference within 15 business days of notification at the speaker registration rate.

Abstract Submission Policy:
  1. No Marketing Materials. Consultants and manufacturers may submit abstracts of a non-commercial nature, but all obvious commercial sales pitches will not be accepted for a presentation. Being selected to present at Offshore WINDPOWER 2013 is a privilege, and recognizes you as a top industry expert. We frequently hear from attendees objecting to the commercial nature of some presentations, including a sales pitch will only diminish your reputation in the eyes of conference attendees

  2. It is possible to submit more than one abstract. However, only one presenting author per abstract is permitted. While it is possible for one presenter to have several poster presentations, please be aware that it is unlikely a presenter will be allowed to make more than one podium presentation in the program this year.

  3. Selected presenters will be asked to present their abstracts along with other accepted abstracts in a designated time slot, with single PPT presentations ranging from 5 -20 minutes. In some cases, abstract authors may be asked to speak as a panelist. Session topics are pre-determined by the program committee.

  4. Please note that late submissions will not be considered. AWEA reserves the right to reject any abstracts for failure to comply with submission guidelines mentioned on this website. Due to the large number of abstracts received for this conference, AWEA is unable to provide feedback on abstracts not accepted for the program.
