2019 Diverse Philanthropy and Leadership Conference Scholarship Application

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and African American Development Officers Network (AADO) will conduct the sixth conference on diverse philanthropy and leadership to meet the great demand for professional development at all levels of advancement, not only in the area of diverse leadership but also in understanding philanthropic diversity.

The conference concentrates on emerging philanthropic markets (i.e., ethnic, LGBT, young alumni) in advancement while exploring minority wealth, philanthropic behaviors and diverse engagement strategies. The program also features sessions on enhancing management and leadership skills for advancement professionals of diverse backgrounds.

Individuals at CASE member institutions are eligible to apply. There is no application fee.

Applicants should have three or fewer years of experience in educational advancement or have changed advancement disciplines in the last three years. (For example: Changed from alumni relations to fundraising.)

Preference goes to professionals from under-represented populations and those who work in offices with demonstrably limited resources.

Please complete this application by March 8, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be announced no later than March 22, 2019.
