The 2015 Fall Urgent Care Convention will be held September 24-26 at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans. You won't want to miss this conference! 


Presentations:
UCAOA is looking for clinical and practice management presentation submissions that deliver evidence-based and implementable skills and knowledge, cutting-edge content, and real-world cases, as well as discussions of drivers, challenges, impact, and/or opportunities for urgent care are all potential approaches. Most sessions are 1 hour, which means you need to prepare 45-50 minutes of content. NEW ADDITION - We will also be looking for poster presentations.

We have 4 specific practice management tracks where we are looking for specific presentations but also offer the opportunity for you to submit your own ideas for a session in these tracks. Click here for a list of specific presentation descriptions.

On the Clinical side we are looking for case based presentations. The presentation should either be geared toward adult or pediatric cases. Lastly, we are looking for poster presentations. The purpose of the UCAOA/UCCOP poster presentation is to provide a venue to share original research, interesting or unique case presentations, innovative and effective educational programs, process development, unique community projects, and to encourage networking among members of the urgent care industry.

Every submission is reviewed by the UCAOA Education Committee; we may contact you directly for more information. Please be aware that Power Point presentations will be due by August 3, 2015. If you think you can present on more than one topic, please submit accordingly.

Faculty Honoraria/Reimbursement
Please review the faculty honoraria/reimbursement grid, which explains how UCAOA reimburses for travel expenses and honoraria. Speakers who work for a company who is exhibiting in the UCAOA Exhibit Hall at the Fall Conference will not be paid honoraria or have expenses covered.

Deadline !
All session submissions must be received no later than 5 pm Central on Tuesday, May 26. Poster Presentation Abstracts are due by July 1, 2015 at 5 pm.

The submission process can take up to 30 minutes depending on the availability of your content. We recommend having your topic(s) and/or objectives thought out ahead of time to speed up the application process.
