Call for Abstracts for the 2018 Southeastern Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies Annual Conference is now open! Click "Join Now" below to begin.
- The scientific program will consist of three types of sessions: Organized Symposia (a series of integrated presentations that address aspects of a single topic or theme, submitted as an organized group of speakers); Contributed Oral Presentations (individual oral presentations that are grouped into sessions by conference organizers); and Poster Presentations (4’x4’ printed poster showcased as part of the Poster Viewing & Reception.)
Abstract Submission:
- Anyone interested in submitting an abstract for the conference should submit a proposal using this online form by Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 11:59 PM (EST).
- Please include all of the requested information and use the required format to ensure that the program committee receives the information necessary to evaluate your submission.The online form will prompt you for details, including: Presentation Title, Authors, Track, and Abstract (limited to 250 words).
- Track Options: Contributed Oral and Poster presentations will be grouped with similar presentations to form thematic sessions, based on selected disciplines: Law Enforcement, Legal, IT/Licensing, Administration & Business, Marketing, R3 & Communications, Fisheries and Wildlife. Oral presentation authors also have the option of indicating interest in an Organized Symposium, either as an invited speaker, or if you want your talk to be considered for a particular symposium. Overviews of the accepted symposia are posted to the conference website for reference (click here to review).
- You may begin the submission process and return to your saved proposal any time up until the submission deadline. You can also login and make any modifications only until the submission deadline.
Upcoming Deadlines:
- Call for Abstracts opens on March 26, 2018 and the deadline to submit all abstracts (including individual speakers within a symposium, general oral, posters, and peer-reviewed papers): May 15, 2018.
- Deadline to submit peer-reviewed MANUSCRIPTS: May 15, 2018. Please note: manuscripts will need to be uploaded in the online form when submitting the abstract.
