Thank you so much for agreeing to review abstract submissions for The ASAM 49th Annual Conference! All Abstract Submissions will be reviewed for the following.
- Quality of Submission:Do the abstract, learning objectives, references, and other aspects of the submission suggest that the proposed poster or session will maintain the standard of excellence of the Annual Conference?
- Scientific Value: Do the abstract, learning objectives, references, and other aspects of the submission suggest that the proposed poster or session will contain valuable scientific research or clinical insight and will make a positive contribution to the knowledge base and understanding of addiction medicine?
- Interest to Conference Registrants: Do the abstract, learning objectives, references, and other aspects of the submission suggest that the proposed poster or session will: address the addiction medicine core-competencies; meet the learning needs of conference attendees; cover timely, relevant topics and attract learners to the conference?
- Overall Appropriateness for Inclusion in the Conference: Do the abstract, learning objectives, references, and other aspects of the submission suggest that the proposed poster or session will be in-line with: the addiction medicine core-competencies; the goals and objectives of the Annual Conference; and the goals of ASAM, in general?
All assigned submissions must be reviewed by Friday, February 9, 2018 by 11:59 pm ET.
