2019 Oceans of Opportunity:
Come share your expertise at the UCA Convention & Expo Oceans of Opportunity April 7 - 10, 2019 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, West Palm Beach, Florida. We are looking for cutting-edge clinical and practice management presentations from dynamic speakers. Please feel free to share this information with other on-demand healthcare colleagues who might be interested in presenting.

Presentation Information
The 2019 Convention & Expo strives to offer attendees tools, knowledge and connections necessary to cultivate a better patient experience, drive value and improve profitability. The agenda will offer the traditional one-hour lecture as well as Express Sessions (30 minutes) and Deep Dive Sessions (1.5 hours) that might include an interactive component. We are looking for a combination of prescribed topics as well as an open call for presentations. We want to see what you can deliver to the industry. IMPORTANT NOTE: We are looking for speakers to cover at least 2 content topics and/or present the same topic multiple times during the conference.

For each submission, you will be required to create specific learning objectives, click here to learn how to effectively write learning objectives. You will also need to tell us why you or your proposed speaker are qualified to present at the Conference. If you have never spoken for UCA before you will also need to upload a short 1-2 minute demo of you presenting something. It can be filmed using your phone - nothing fancy. If you already have a presentation prepared you can upload the Power Point. Every submission is reviewed by the UCA Education Content Committees. We will be asking the question "How can attendees use this information when they return to their jobs after the conference?"

Problem? Solution! We want to know how your and your UC team innovate when it’s time to problem-solve! We envision our “Express Rounds” as specially curated 30-minute innovation sessions, featuring YOU, our members! Give us your best example of ideas you’ve put in place to make your workplace a more effective and efficient place to work and serve your patients. Special tuition pricing will be available to groups that are chosen to present to enable teams to attend!

Faculty Honoraria
UCA offers a supportive reimbursement/honoraria package the includes Convention Tuition. Please review these prior to submitting Faculty Honoraria/Reimbursement Guidelines before submitting.

Deadline! All session submissions must be received no later than 5pm Central on Monday, November 12, 2018.

The submission process can take up to 30 minutes depending on the availability of your content. We recommend having your objectives written out ahead of time to speed up the application process.
