The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is pleased to announce its Call for Speakers for Annual Conference 2019.

What We’re Looking For
Our goal with Annual is to deliver the latest trends from the best and the brightest minds in the profession, and to help participants share knowledge and insights to become more effective, efficient and prosperous. Our volunteer Annual Conference Task Force will review each submission; however, we are only able to accommodate proposals that best meet our content and programming needs.

While proposals on a wide variety of topics will be accepted, the Annual Conference Task Force has developed a Content Map for preferred topics for this event. Priority review will be given to program proposals under the following topic headings:

• Challenges/Changes in Profession
• Communicating with Clients
• Compliance and Cyber Security 
• Diversity and Inclusion
• Education Planning
• Financial Planner of the Future
• Human Resources
• Insurance Planning
• Investments
• Longevity and Math of Aging
• Marketing/Messaging
• Nuts and Bolts of Running/Growing a Business
• Regulation
• Specialty Client Planning/Planning Niches
• Succession Planning for Planner and Clients
• Systems and Efficiency/Technology
• Tax Planning
• Trusts/Estates

Who Should Submit?
If you’re passionate about the financial planning profession or you’re a passionate financial planner with insights on other topics, you’re encouraged to add your voice to Annual 2019. 

Deadline for Submissions
The Call for Speakers is now open, and proposals are due by 11:59 pm [EST] on Monday, February 25, 2019. Speaker selections will be made in April and sessions/speakers will be announced in May.

Encourage Others to Submit

The FPA Annual Conference is one of the largest financial planning conferences held each year, attracting CFP® professionals and financial planning thought leaders from across the globe.
