The RIME Program Planning Committee announces the 2018 Call for Submissions for research and review papers. The RIME Committee is charged with reviewing and selecting components of the AAMC Learn Serve Lead Meeting that focus on medical education research.

The AAMC Learn Serve Lead meeting will be held on November 6 – 8, 2018 in Austin, TX.

The RIME Committee has relaxed the length requirement for research and review papers (please see the 2018 RIME Submission Instructions for more details). Authors should aim for an article length that will present their message as succinctly and clearly as possible. Most articles for the journal are between 1,500 and 3,000 words long.

RIME submissions fall into 2 categories: Research Papers and Review Papers

1. Research Papers must describe completed medical education research.
2. Review Papers synthesize existing research and should provide direction for future research and practice.

Authors should refer to the 2018 RIME Submission Instructions while preparing their manuscript for submission.

Submission Deadline
The deadline for RIME Research Papers and Review Papers is December 11, 2017 at 11:59 PM PST.
