The Texas Apartment Association is a non-profit statewide trade association dedicated to unifying rental housing professionals through education, legislative advocacy and member services. TAA is the largest statewide apartment association in the United States with more than 11,000 members representing more than 2 million units. TAA is affiliated with the National Apartment Association and local associations in 25 Texas cities.
This Call for Presentations will be used to determine
Sessions offered at TAA's 2019 Education Conference & Lone Star Expo on April 10-12 in Houston, and
TAA webinars through May 2019.

Application Review Process
Owner/manager members of TAA's Education Committee and the Career Development Subcommittee of TAA’s Education Conference Committee will review and evaluate submissions using the following criteria:
- The proposal must be relevant and significant to the rental housing industry in Texas.
- Submission materials must be clearly articulated and contain achievable learning objectives.
- The presenter must be qualified to speak on the proposed subject matter.
- The session must not promote any specific company or products.
- The session engages the audience and provides useful information that attendees can apply to daily work life.
- The title must reflect the content of the proposed session.
Presenters are not guaranteed slots on the program, even though past speaking engagements for TAA may have been well received.

Compensation
TAA may pay a reasonable speaking fee, reimburse travel expenses and provide complimentary event tickets for the day you speak and will work directly with speakers on those details. TAA will attempt to negotiate any speaking fees, and we request that you quote a competitive fee as part of your proposal.
