The Call for Abstracts for the
74th Annual Northeast Fish & Wildlife Conference is closing soon! All abstracts must be submitted by midnight EST, January 2, 2018.
Abstract Submission:
- The scientific program will consist of three types of sessions: Organized Symposia (oral presentations organized by a topic of interest); Contributed Oral Presentations (20-minute presentations grouped into sessions by topic); and Poster Presentations.
- Please include all of the requested information and use the required format. Each submission must include the following: Contact Information, Presentation Type, Track, Title of Presentation, Authors and Affiliations, and Abstract (up to 300 words).
- Track Options will be as follows: Inland Fisheries, Marine Fisheries, Wildlife, Outreach & Education, Law Enforcement, and a NEW TRACK "Innovations" - innovations are exciting ideas and/or work done on infrastructure, with volunteers, working with interns, or any other multi-disciplinary or administrative initiatives. For example: energy efficiency, intern policies, etc
- For Organized Symposia proposals: Submit an overview abstract for your symposium idea by the January 2nd deadline. Individual presenters and abstracts can be finalized at a later date.
- You may begin the submission process and return to your saved proposal any time up until the submission deadline. You can also login and make any modifications only until the submission deadline.
- Please submit an abstract only if you plan to attend the meeting. Presenting authors must be registered for the conference on the day of their scheduled presentation. The Registration Deadline for all presenters is February 15, 2018. This is also the early registration deadline. If you submit an abstract and fail to register by this date, your abstract may be dropped from the program. A separate online registration form will be available via the conference website.
Deadlines:
- Call for Presentations: Proposals for symposia, general contributed sessions and posters must be submitted by January 2, 2018.
- Notifications of acceptance will be sent by end of January, and the schedule will be posted by mid-February 2018.
