Welcome to the 2015 AAE Annual Session Call for Presentations
2015 Annual Session
May 6 - 9, 2015 in Seattle, Washington

The Annual Session Planning Committee invites all members to submit a presentation to be considered for the 2015 Annual Session. Presenting at an Annual Session provides you with the opportunity to share your knowledge with your peers and increase your visibility in the AAE.

Eligibility
All members of the AAE are eligible to present a Submitted Presentation. You will be using this site to submit your proposed lecture or workshop. Log in below and follow the instructions.

Presentation Overview
The American Association of Endodontists strives to provide its members with the highest quality in continuing dental education. The course material must be relevant and presented in a professional manner within the allotted time. All AAE sessions will be educational in content and free from commercial or promotional bias. Submitted Presentations are primarily clinical or scientific in nature. However, current topics of general interest, such as practice management or quality of life issues, are welcome.

Presentation Length and Format
Submitted Presentations are limited to 90 minutes unless additional time is deemed necessary by the Annual Session Planning Committee. Suggested formats include lecture, panel discussion or issue debate.

Submission Guidelines
All Submitted Presentations must include the following information. Submissions in any other format will not be considered: The provided title, session synopsis and learning objectives will be published in the Annual Session Program. Synopses may not exceed 150 words. Each learning objective should complete the sentence, “At conclusion, participants should be able to….” and should begin with measurable verbs (e.g., list, discuss, describe, evaluate, perform). Avoid using nonmeasureable verbs such as understand, appreciate, believe, know or learn.

Hands-On Workshops
Members wishing to present a hands-on workshop are required to provide the following additional information:
Handout Materials
Attendee evaluations indicate a high demand for speaker handouts; therefore, handouts are a desired component of speaking and all presenters are required to provide a handout approximately two weeks in advance of the meeting. This will enable AAE members to have electronic access to handout material prior to the meeting.

Session Recordings
All Annual Session presentations are recorded and offered as online education on the AAE Live Learning Center. In order to provide this benefit, the Annual Session Planning Committee encourages all speakers to agree to be recorded.

Speaker Remuneration
AAE policy precludes remuneration for submitted presentations, and members requesting to participate in the Annual Session program must pay all applicable meeting registration fees. In addition, member speakers are responsible for making their own hotel and travel arrangements.

Submission Deadline

The submission deadline is May 15, 2014; submissions received after this date will not be accepted.

Notification of Acceptance
All Submitted Presentations will be reviewed by the Annual Session Planning Committee. Members will be notified of acceptance no later than July 15, 2014.

Questions
If you have questions regarding the submission process, contact the AAE Meeting Services Department at 800/872-3636 (U.S., Canada, Mexico) or 312/266-7255, ext. 3026, or by sending an e-mail to meetings@aae.org
