2018 Fellowship Opportunities

The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer’s fellowship award program was established to support the development of young investigators in the field in order to cultivate the next generation of cancer immunotherapy experts. SITC is proud to announce that we will be offering several new fellowships in 2018 made possible through the generosity and partnership of the organizations outlined below.

Submission period is January 9 through February 20, 2018
Decision date: May 2018

Applicants may be eligible for more than one fellowship. As reviews are conducted independently, submission to multiple fellowships is allowed and encouraged.

BMS

SITC-Bristol-Myers Squibb Postdoctoral Cancer Immunotherapy Translational Fellowship Award

Two-year award (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2020)
$200,000 (no indirect costs)
MD, PhD, or MD/PhD
SITC-Bristol-Myers Squibb Postdoctoral Cancer Immunotherapy Translational Fellowship Award aims to provide support for a young investigator who has a vested interest in furthering the research and translation of cancer immunotherapy.

SITC-AstraZeneca Postdoctoral Cancer Immunotherapy in Combination Therapies Clinical Fellowship Award

One-year award (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019)
$100,000 (no indirect costs)
MD or MD/PhD
The SITC-AstraZeneca Postdoctoral Cancer Immunotherapy in Combination Therapies Clinical Fellowship Award will provide funding support for one year of salary, equipment, supplies and fringe benefits to a young investigator whose research is focused on combination therapies.

SITC-Merck Cancer Immunotherapy Clinical Fellowship Award

One-year award (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019)
$100,000 (no indirect costs)
MD or MD/PhD
The SITC-Merck Cancer Immunotherapy Clinical Fellowship Award will provide funding support for one year of salary, equipment, supplies and fringe benefits to a young investigator who has a vested interest in furthering the research and translation of cancer immunotherapy.
