Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Details

A limited number of oral abstract presentation slots are still available. The International Scientific Advisory Committee has sole discretion regarding placement of abstracts within the ICMI 2017 program.

Additionally, there are a limited number of Travel Awards still available for Young Investigators and those from Low- to Middle-Income Countries. If you are a student or post doc, please confirm or apply for membership prior to submitting your application.

Abstract Fee

There is a $60 non-refundable submission fee per abstract for SMI non-members, and a $40 fee for members. Join SMI prior to abstract submission to receive the discounted fee. Submission Guidelines and Instructions

Presenting authors must submit the abstract and must be prepared to present the abstract at ICMI 2017 should it be accepted. Posters will not be allowed without an accompanying presenter. All presenting authors must submit a completed disclosure form. If a presenting author does not submit a disclosure form by the submission date, the abstract may be withdrawn. During abstract submission, presenting authors may indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation format. However, program placement is the sole discretion of the ICMI 2017 International Scientific Advisory Committee. Graphical elements, such as charts, pictures, etc., may be included in abstract submission. Please review your submission carefully. No revisions, including author revisions and/or new data, will be accepted after the submission deadline.

Notifications

Late breaking abstract presenting authors will be notified the week of May 14th. Presenting authors of late-breaking abstracts must register to attend ICMI 2017 by May 26th, 2017, for the abstract to be included in the abstract supplement and scheduled into the program.
