Academy Class 17 (2020) Trainee Application

RISE Fellows applications will close on November 15 at midnight Eastern time.

The Academy for International Education is a year-long professional development program designed to provide newcomers with an introduction to the field of international education and those more experienced with an opportunity to broaden their perspectives. Experienced international educators serve as coaches and guide the learning of a cohort of up to six Academy trainees.

Professionals in all NAFSA Regions are eligible to apply for the 2020 Academy program. NAFSA membership is not required. Apply early, applications will be accepted until November 15, 2019. Applications from individuals who reside in NAFSA Region VII (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee) and VIII (Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virgina) will be accepted until November 22, 2019.
